Congrats Hubspot – Top Places To Work

As I was getting ready this morning I caught this clip on Fox News on the Globes Top Places to work in Boston which is due out on Sunday. Hubspot made the list on having a free range vacationing system where they don’t track vacation and people can take them as they please as long as they let their managers know.

I think this is awesome because like Hubspot, I work with a great group of hard working people that wouldn’t take advantage of the system and it helps teach your employees how to self manage. However I wonder how this would scale as a company gets larger and it gets harder to track people. Although I guess the smaller the company, the more each person has to do which means people are more concentrated on their work then on other people.
